Kabar gembira buat para Witcher fans! Di ajang State of Unreal 2025, CD Projekt RED akhirnya resmi memamerkan trailer sinematik terbaru dan demo teknis dari The Witcher 4. Lewat acara tersebut, kita dikasih bocoran soal bagaimana game ini bakal tampil jauh lebih canggih dan imersif berkat dukungan Unreal Engine 5 versi terbaru.
Ciri Tampil Memukau di The Witcher 4
Dalam demo yang ditampilkan, protagonis utama Ciri kembali jadi sorotan. Kali ini, dia sedang dalam misi berburu monster di kawasan pegunungan dan hutan lebat. Uniknya, lokasi yang diambil adalah Kovir, sebuah wilayah yang sebelumnya belum pernah muncul di seri game The Witcher. Kehadiran Kovir ini pastinya bakal jadi angin segar buat para pemain yang penasaran dengan area baru di dunia The Witcher.
Nggak cuma Ciri, demo ini juga memperkenalkan Kelpie, kuda kesayangannya, yang setia menemani perjalanan menuju kota pelabuhan Valdrest. Di sepanjang perjalanan, kita disuguhi pemandangan alam yang super detail dan atmosfer open world yang makin hidup.
Unreal Engine 5 dan Ray-Tracing di PS5 Standar
Hal paling menarik dari demo ini adalah bagaimana The Witcher 4 mampu berjalan mulus di PlayStation 5 standar dengan kecepatan 60 fps, lengkap dengan ray-tracing aktif. Ini jelas jadi pencapaian luar biasa mengingat kualitas visual yang dipamerkan terlihat begitu realistis, mulai dari pencahayaan dinamis, bayangan, hingga efek partikel yang kaya detail.
Di atas panggung, CD PROJEKT RED bersama Epic Games juga menjelaskan lebih dalam soal teknologi yang mereka gunakan. Mulai dari Nanite untuk detail lingkungan yang super tajam, Lumen untuk pencahayaan real-time, hingga berbagai sistem AI dan animasi yang bikin dunia game terasa lebih hidup dan responsif.

Lewat demo ini, CD Projekt RED ingin menunjukkan kalau The Witcher 4 bukan cuma sekadar lanjutan seri sebelumnya, tapi sebuah lompatan besar dalam hal pengalaman bermain open world.
